The Tower Challenge was a science lesson where we applied what we knew about the properties of solids in order to create a tower that would stand as tall as we could make it. It was both challenging, and sometimes frustrating, for 1C friends to work with the limited materials of a rubber band, popcicle stick, piece of aluminum foil, straw, two cups and two squares of cardboard. Fun activity! At the end of the lesson, as we had played the role of ENGINEERS, we saw some work that other engineers had put together to help OK Go! create a music video.
